So what did you get for Christmas?

We got a puppy. Her name is Monday and she is adorable. I don’t think she is too thrilled about the drum set that my son got, but who is? I mean, other than him, obviously.

I also got a new camera and a drimel rotating thingy for crafting, and new jammies and a whole bunch of stuff. V. good Christmas. Family bonding and an excellent Christmas nap. What could be better?

A girlfriend who vacationed in Alaska this year gave me an Ulu knife. It’s perfect for chopping up fresh herbs for cooking. You can also use it to skin dead animals and build igloos, but I’ll stick to herb chopping.

I also got a motion sensor camera so I can see what critters are raiding my garden and compost bin this summer.
