Duct Tape Sculpture Contest
Go to the Duct Tape Club and look in the galleries. There are loads of amazing sculptures.
I am even more excited about seeing what kind of amazing things that you can make out of duct tape.
Here are some ground rules for the contest…
1. Your sculpture must only be made out of duct tape, paper and cardboard. No paper and cardboard showing.
2. You may work in groups or by yourself.
3. On June 7th at 6 p.m., bring in your completed sculpture. We will NOT be working on or completing sculptures the night of the contest. They must be finished when you bring it in.
4. You must be in the 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade to enter. NO FAIR GETTING HELP FROM ADULTS
5. You will be judge on originality, neatness and effort.
6. Prizes will be awarded for the best sculpture by a group and by a single person. There will also be honorable mentions in both categories.
7. The winners and honorable mentions will be on display at the library for the month of June.
Okay, that is all that I can think of. If I think of anything else, I will blog it.
But if you think of a question be sure to email me.
OH, and join us on Sunday, May 20th at 2:00 for a sculpture work session. You will need to bring all of your own supplies. I won’t have anything available except for space to work.
