Letters about Literature
HEY LOVERS OF BOOKS!!!
There is a contest that you really should enter.
It is called Letters about Literature — thus the title of this post — and basically you write a letter to your favorite author telling him or her why he or she is so darn cool.
Since this is a major summary of the contest I suggest that you go to the official website where there is more information, guidelines and entry forms, etc… etc…

Apparently there are cash prizes and those people who win at the National Level — very impressive — can also win grant money for the school or community library.

Do you think the grant money could go directly to a certain library assistant we all know and love. :) Because if it could, then you kids need to get your pens out and start writing. Shonica needs a new pair of shoes!!
Seriously, Shonica needs a new pair of shoes. I’ve got my eye on a pair of pink high top Chuck Taylors. Would have them already but I had to buy new shoes for my kids instead. Bummer.

I actually was married in a pair of green low rider chucks. Very cool. Still have em. Should wear them more often so that you guys can admire them. I’ll try to remember. Still want pink ones.
