Young Adult Writer's Group
I’ve been having such a lovely time in Heroic Hamsters, the writing workshop and was feeling sad that it will end tonight, (November 16th) that I’ve thought of a way to make the writing fun go on and on…
A writing group that is just for you guys (and girls of course) in 5th through 8th grades.
We can get together once a month to talk about what has come out of your creative minds, share some ideas and tips, and write a little too.
January 25 at 6 p.m. we will meet in the library conference room to get ourselves organized. I am thinking that we will be finished around 7:30 p.m.
The reason for getting organized is this… I don’t actually plan to be in charge. This is a group for those of you who love to write so I figure that you can be in control. I will be there for fun and support.
Be sure to bring your writer’s notebook and a pen or pencil.
Mark it on your calenders. Tell all of your friends. AND call the library to register so that I will know how many lovely people to expect.
