Tutor Training
Do you love to read?
Can you imagine what a struggle each day would be if reading were difficult? Twenty Percent of adults don’t have to imagine. That’s right, one in five Americans can’t read!
You may be asking yourself “What can I do?” Well, you can become a volunteer tutor by attending two fun evenings of training at the library. You will be given instruction in the Laubach method of teaching reading. If you can read this page then you can teach someone to read better.
Tutor training classes will be held on Monday April 14 and Wednesday April 16 from 5:30 to 8:30
