                                                                                                                                3:00pm                 Madison Public Library

Science helps us understand the flower, pollinator, and fruit structural-functional relationships and their connection for gardeners to create or adapt, design, and maintain useful habitats for pollinators to help increase their populations.  Presenter Kirsten Carlson is an adjunct faculty member in the life sciences at IVY Tech Community College and a volunteer educator at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. For the last seven years, she has been working with schools and other groups to create pollinator habitats and Monarch Waystations along with tagging monarch butterflies for MonarchWatch.  Call 812/265-2744 or email events@mjcpl.org for more information.
